Among the many things we miss about our dear friend Pam Reece is her crochet savvy. She loved to take a familiar, even nostalgic idea and give it a modern twist. Like this baby blanket, for example. We used her idea to create a pattern with 2- and 10-color sequences. Then we thought, what about 5-colors? So we wrote an addendum (included with the original pattern, or available as a separate download below). The design is amply sophisticated for any decor so we've also sized it up to afghan and throw proportions for our Churchmouse At Home collection. As Pam would say, “Handsome!”
