Churchmouse Yarns & Teas is a design studio, online purveyor, and caring community that began in 2000.
Our Mission: Help people find joy in making things.
Our Motto: "Time Well Spent" -- if you knit a project, it should be worth the time. You should be delighted with the results. That's why our patterns have so much detail.
Ordering is Super Easy!
Go to LOGIN to access your account log in (or CREATE AN ACCOUNT if you are new to us). You’ll be able to see your profile and order history (so when you’re wondering, “Did I order that last time?” you’ll know). Be sure to fill in your details so we know where to send the order.
If you know what you want, go to QUICK ORDER and search alphabetically or by collection or by title. Three copies minimum per title, please.
If you’d like to BROWSE our range of more than 140 published patterns by type, enjoy! Find something to try, add it to your cart.
Shipping is Free
You must have an account with us to place an online order. If you're having technical trouble, call or write and we’ll happily get you on track. Of course, you can always call or email your order to us. Just click on CONTACT.
Shipping for our Wholesale customers is always free.

Printed Patterns Are Unsurpassed!
In this digital age, customers appreciate holding IRL printed patterns. Ours are always on thick card stock, awesome paper, and gorgeously printed.
Boost Ravelry In-Store Sales!
Yarn Shops rely on Ravelry’s fantabulous service to get Churchmouse patterns without holding inventory, and you can too! Note that many of them keep printed patterns on hand for display.
Why Knit Samples?
Post our printed patterns around your LYS. We knit them. We know they work. Re-yarning? Hang a swatch on the pattern -- yes, 6 x 6 not 4 x 4 (that’s what Julie Hoover does!).
Why sell our patterns to other shops?
Our patterns are designed, tested, written and knitted by experienced yarn shop people. We know the things customers will ask, so we put them in the pattern! In detail! We want to share this knowledge with every LYS so their customers will be happy. We believe that a rising tide lifts all boats!
