“A practical cozy that knits up in a trice.
• about the DESIGN
Like rooibos tea or steamed milk before bed, a hot water bottle quickly becomes a ritual. Jennifer Evans designed this pretty, practical cozy that knits up in a trice. Fill your cheerful red rubber bottle with very hot tap water, tuck it between your sheets and turn the thermostat down. No more cold toes! And wouldn't it make a thoughtful gift?

• NOTES
Sometimes it's the little details that make a project—and a simple knit can be just as satisfying as a more complicated piece. When Kath knit a cozy for the photoshoot, she said "Wouldn't it be great if the ribs lined up with the shoulder decreases?" Well, yes it would, and it was only a matter of shifting the rib pattern by one stitch. Our design team works hard to put out a quality pattern, but it is our staff and customers who help us make it even better as we "try and true" it in our Bainbridge Island shop.
